Hotels and suppliers can now apply for HAZ membership for the 2026/27 year. Hotel fees start at USD 250 a year, set by rooms and rate band.
Applications for the 2026/27 membership year are now open for hotels and for Affiliate Members.
For hotels
Hotel membership gives your hotel joint promotions with airlines and partners, a place on shared exhibition stands, negotiated terms on digital systems, market intelligence, and forums where owners and General Managers solve common problems together.
The annual fee is set by your number of rooms and your rate band. It starts at USD 250 for hotels of 5 to 20 rooms with rates below USD 150. Find your fee.

Each application needs two HAZ member hotels to propose it. The Zanzibar Commission for Tourism (ZCT) requires every hotel to show evidence of association membership before a hotel licence is issued; HAZ membership meets this requirement.
For suppliers and service providers
Affiliate membership gives your organisation credibility, visibility and direct access to the people who make hotel decisions. There are six levels, from Directory Listing at USD 150 a year, for suppliers recommended by a HAZ member hotel, to Principal Affiliate at USD 3,000 a year. Compare the levels.
